Canadian “Funny” Money? and Facebook Giveaway

************************************
These are real Canadian bils... .I posted  about the discontinued Canada penny and our loonies and toonies  and I should have showed pictures of our new bills!   Out with the old and in with the new.

I always kid Marc about our “colour coordinated bills (we “say” colour and you might “say” color).   Its easy to distinguish between one bill and the other because of their colour.
Recently we have been  changing our bills so that they are a material other than the regular paper type.  It folds like this….
And has a part where you can see right through it….

What I don’t care for about these bills is that its more difficult to fold them in half and keep in your pocket.  They are slippery and want to just “pop” out….which really isn’t a good thing to do anyway.  However having said that don’t you love it when you put your hand into your pocket, especially if its something you haven’t worn since the last season, and pull out some money?  I do!!
Have a great day…. Judi xoxo

Oh yes, I love to find money. Mine is usually in jacket pockets:). That is strange looking money but if that's all I had, it would spend just fine. Big hugs dear Judi.

Good morning Judi, I have neglected my blog friends because I have had company for the past two weeks. My cousin does not have a computer and would never understand my love of blogging.Sigh!

The new bills are quite colorful. I can only think it would be a bit confusing.

Yes, finding money in my pocket is awesome. I once found $200. dollars in fifty dollar bills in my jeans pocket that I had completely forgotten about for months. YAY!!!

Hugs, Jeanne

I wasn't even aware that Canada had made any change.

Now Judi, I NEVER have "found" money that I'd forgotten in my pocket! Please allow me to borrow your slacks or jacket!

I haven't found any money in my clothes or purses in a while - - - but it always is a very nice surprise! Interesting stuff about your paper money.
