Christmas Party at the Lake....brrrr...

Last weekend it was looking quite cool at the Rockledge cottage.
This is what the lake looked like from the livingroom window.  Doesn't it look cold with the white caps on the water.
But see that little fellow just having a merry and apparently warm time swimming? You can see him in the water just above the grass line...  brrrrrrrr....

We went to Christmas party that has become an annual event at our friend's place.
This is the tree our friends had this year.  Every year its a fresh one that is getting a bit smaller and a bit smaller.  This one was still over 11 feet tall.  They have lots of room for it.
I was checking everything out before the others arrived...
the stockings were hung...under Santa's picture....
The party was a lot of fun with everyone bringing something to share...
These pictures were taken before the almost 70 other people arrived and brought goodies...Marc is trying something yummy I can tell....
Their house is just the perfect place to entertain...see how she has red lights all along the windows inside....it looks so great and friendly to welcome us all...  The windows face to the lake as well and it would have been beautiful to see the snow falling but...the good thing I guess was that it was NOT snowing...*s*...I can wait..

I hope you had a very lovely preChristmas weekend also.... Judi xoxo

Good morning Judi, Your post made me smile all the way through. What a lovely party with good friends. Seventy people is a huge crowd. Just think of all the good things to eat. HA! I am thinking about food a lot these past weeks because I am dieting. Gotta get into my winter clothes for the cruise. We leave on Thursday.YAY!

Your friends home is so warm and inviting. The tree is still very tall. Get the ladder. Smile.

Have a wonderful Christmas Holiday and as always thank you for the "hugs"

Blessings and HUGS back,
Jeanne
