Last weekend we made an easy and very delicious dessert. We made Crepe Suzettes. They were so delicious and not difficult to make. Nice and light with an orange sauce.
Do you make crepes? Do you use a crepe maker? I don't have one but I have no problem making them in my 10" frying pan. Its easy. I have made crepes but this sauce is new.
When I make them without sauce I stack them after sprinkling a little fine sugar on each crepe. Then I roll them into a cylinders and sprinkle on a little more sugar. We serve them with a nice jam on the side, or maple syrup and whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Delish.
I made the batter and placed it in the fridge for about an hour....
stacked up the crepes as I cooked them....
we made delicious orange sauce with just a bit of Gran Marnier in it. If you don't want to use Gran Marnier the orange juice, orange peel and orange sections will work just fine....
Don't they look so delicious after the crepes "drank" up some of the sauce from the frying pan, were rolled into cylinders...a little warm sauce and orange sections on top...mmmmm...delicious with ice vanilla ice cream...mmmm....
Give them a try if you haven't. They would be so impressive and delicious to enjoy when company comes over. We had enough for brekky the next morning...mmmmmmm
Enjoy....Judi xoxo

Oh, goodness...I love crepes...both sweet and savory! I like Bobby Flay too. He makes some delicious stuff, I tell ya! We were down at the beach in Hollywood, Fl. today and riding a wooden rollercoaster in Dania. I will post pics tonight!
