Well maybe Abby my "helper" helped take my mind off the tedious job it might have been? She was with me the whole time I painted, quite fascinated actually. She is funny because she's sensitive to certain scents. If I get up close to talk to her after brushing my teeth she makes a face and curls up her upper lip, or if I have just put on scented hand cream or perfume she does the same thing. Funny face and curls up her upper lip.
But she rather liked the smell of paint and kept taking whiffs of it. Silly girl.
When I moved the furniture she had to trapes in and out of every spot....
so curious....
between that and looking out the window at the snowflakes....
sitting up high on moved furniture looking outside at the snowflakes....
lying on whatever new things found their way on to the bed or out of place...
another spot to watch mama....
She did manage to look up at me from a piece of furniture that wasn't normally in that spot....
The bedroom is not large but I took some pictures anyway. I only get the morning sun in that room so in the afternoon it was darker. Now its so much brighter all day.
The taupe was a pretty enough colour but I needed a change. This is the contrast.
These are the pillow cases I made this winter....
The ceiling is about the colour the walls were before. It really looks dark in these pictures in contrast to the light colour of the walls now. When you actually stand in the room the ceiling is fine just the way it is.
This is the dresser I thrifted a couple of years ago. It has one drawer missing. Now that I've angled it to face the door I have a pretty piece of vintage lace I'm going to gather and hang inside that area just to cover it.
That is the freshly painted bedroom. What a difference a can or 2 of paint can make! I painted the washroom also but because it is small it was difficult to share the whole picture with you.
I hope you have a wonderfully fresh day.... Judi xoxo

Your idea to hang the lace in your missing drawer area is brilliant...I think it will look really neat, too!!!

You impress me; not only do you cook and sew, but now, you paint!
(Please don't tell Johnny. I've convinced him that women can't do these things! LOL)
Your bedroom looks so nice and spring-ish! Very Pretty. Last year I went from taupe to a pale blue-ish green and it made SUCH a difference as well. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine!!
