Cherub Lamp with Prisms...New Again...

Do you remember a while back I bought this vintage lamp at a sale and I'd taken it all apart? It was not a nice colour rather a goldy and stressed silver colour.

I'm finished with it now. I spray painted it very lightly in a white colour. Marc replaced the socket for me. Then I bought crystal priscms.

Its just too bright sitting in front of the mirror to take a good picture with the light on even with the flash off. It is made in Italy and the base is 2 marble squares. The cherub sits on a clear round crystal piece.

I had bought it with the intension of putting it into my pinkdaisies etsy store but I'm loving it too much. I have a "thing" for lamps and for the time it has found a new home here with me.
I hope you have a bright and happy day today...Judi xoxo

Hi Judi! I'm sorry you are feeling bad too! I am not doing much better...it has been 5 days of lung congestion and fever...suppose it is doctor time by tomorrow! Hope yours goes away super fast!!!

Funny...as soon as I saw this lamp after you redid it, I thought "Oh, that looks just like Judi"!!! AND then you told us you like it so much you are keeping it! LOL! I guess I am getting to see what you like...eh??? hee hee hee...

I'm so happy you love it...it is actually one of the sweetest lamps in the history of the earth, in my estimation! Just beautiful!

Sorry your not feeling so good. The lamp turned out great, you should add it to Met. Monday. I love the soft romantic look of it.
