Seasonal Snowfalls...

Our fall has been wonderful.  The temperatures have been above zero most times and even this week its going up to 40F - 5C.  Very unseasonal but most of us love this.  It shortens winter which sometimes is just too darn long.

However, out of the blue when I woke up on Tuesday there was heavy fluffy snow everywhere.  It was packing type snow and would have made a great snowman.  It was too dark when I left for work to take a picture.
But the next day I brought my camera to work with me.  It was very unusual that the snow lay heavily on the trees because it wasn't really cold and all the roads were dry.

 It was beautiful.
so pretty up close.  Like I had forgotten its beauty even after plowing through so many winters....
forgotten winter as we bathed in the summer's sun that always changes too quickly...to fall
and now to almost winter....
and then the rebirth with spring....but we'll endure winter first and enjoy it best we can....
We're very fortunate to have 4 distinct seasons....Hope you enjoy your seasons too... Judi xoxo

Good morning Judi, Don’t faint, it is really me. I have been so busy with a Christmas party here (35 people) and my Garden Club Christmas party (38 people) Not here but a big deal held at our church. I have been having a grand time decorating our home and enjoying the festivities of these two events. Thank goodness, now I can get back to my friends. I have missed my Blog friends so much.

Your photos of the trees laden with snow is so pretty. We rarely have that kind of snow here in the mountains. When we do it is such a beautiful sight. We too have lovely seasons and we love that about living in the mountains of NC.

Christmas thoughts and BIG hugs to you today.
Jenne

Oh, I'll have to use my pot for your no knead bread. Now I'll have to go and find your recipe! :)
Thanks for popping in and stay warm and safe!
