Romantic Amour Cushion

We had a lovely Thanksgiving evening with our friends here in Canada in Oakville, ON.
They enjoy hosting this special time each year with us.

We always have a little Christmas gift exchange and for Kirsti especially I sewed a love "Amour" cushion for their bed.   The digital came from graphiquesepia on Etsy.
I am loving the digitals on graphiquesephia and have many more ideas for more projects.  I used the Citrasolv method to transfer the picture on to a 100% cotton fabric, did some sewing
and tied up the ends with satin ribbon and sewed on a little whimsical red heart.
Here it is on my bed just for a photo...
Taking these pictures reminded me of the sausage pillowcase method of making pillowcases.   I need to make a note to myself that when I have some "more" spare time....I would love another pair...
I enjoyed making and giving this cushion to a special friend.  Thank you Kirsti and Peter!
Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving.... Judi xoxo

Hi Judi, We are home from Florida and a great Thanksgiving with our daughters SIL's and grands. It snowed here yesterday too and it is also melted. It was just a dusting but it is in the 20's here. Brrrr.

I 'love' the Amour pillow. I have made a rolled pillow before and they are fun to make. You did a lovely job and the little red heart is a nice touch.

Punta Gorda is a lovely place to live. I have been there many times. I'm glad you liked the video.

Stay warm,
Hugs, Jeanne
