I had to put in 20 hours/week on the picket line which left me with extra hours for making...Jalapeno Pepper Jelly...Confetti Zucchini relish...and painting my mosaic table....
Then I separated the pulp from the skins of grapes...discarded the seeds and...
I am still in the process of making lavender scented sachets (not yet completed)..
I spent more time at the cottage and we made pizza on the new Weber grill...it was so delicious....We attended a lovely wedding in Stratford (2 hours from home) ....this might have been a nice picture of Marc and I if the camera hadn't been so shaky..(or the photographer)
saw a wonderful white cabinet in a store in Stratford but with the glare its not very clear...it was made from doors of all sizes with vintage glass knobs.....can you make something of it?
While it was good to have fun productive things to do with the extra time off...it feels so much better to have a settled feeling... Work is good....Judi xoxo

O, I'm so glad it's over and you are back at work.
Jelly looks awesome..:) and the pie...oh, my.
You know, I just remembered that Mr. Sweet says his mom made a Green Grape Pie that was out of this world. I have never made a grape pie..sounds good, tho.
I have never heard of a grape pie! Interesting! Sounds like you took good advantage of some of that down time to get a few things done. I can understand having the work situation settled is comforting and you are back to a regular schedule again.
Have a great week!

Judi, I'm glad everything worked out well for you, and I love all of the things you made on your time off. Yum!
I want to thank you for your prayers and well wishes in my last blog post. You are so sweet to remember me in such a nice way, and I really appreciate your sweet concern.
I decided to try and blog a little, but there is still so much going on here. So I will try to do this as I can. But I didn't want any more time to slip by without me properly thanking you.
Warm hugs, my friend...
XO,
Sheila

I love those sweet lavender sachets! Look like fun to make, too! And it's been years since I've made a grape pie...it was a muscadine grape pie!♥
