We are excited to be getting a deck, finally. The guys roped it off Saturday and there was much pondering over the best approach. It isn't going to be a high deck so we won't have railings. A deck will make it so nice to sit and watch the sailboats and the water from the outside. Once its built we'll decide where to add benches and flower boxes that will be added when Ryan has some time as the summer moves along.
The door you see will be replaced with a glass sliding door leading to the deck.
Grampa giving a little kiss to grandson Reed. Reed looks so much like Marc and his daughter Janet.
This is a cute picture of Janet and Reed....
The plants are so lush and green and the clematis we planted only a month ago is growing so well....
I did not want to come back home today.
I hope you had a good weekend.... Judi xoxo

I sure wish I had a get-away cottage! It looks just perfect there on the lake. Your garden is pretty...I have recently fallen in love with clematis. Good luck with your new deck and door...it will be just so heavenly sitting out there!!
Sounds like a lovely weekend! I love your cottage and can't wait to see the new deck as it grows! My husband built one this year, it is a stand-alone just to put a table and chairs for extra seating by the pool!
I LOVE the pictures of your Grandson and his Grandpa and Mom! Soooooo precious!
Have a blessed day my friend, big hugs!
Hi Judi
Your cottage is gorgeous and the deck will make it much easier to enjoy being outside. I hope you share pictures when it's finished.
Your family must love visiting you there.
