How Many Hearts Do YOU See?

We celebrated Marc's daughter Janet's 30th birthday on February 13th. It was a surprise party shared with her close friends and family and held at the Elk's lodge. She was so happy and laughed at speeches made about her.

Janet thanked everyone for the surprise and said her first 30 years were so great. She had a surprise for us too. They were pregnant! She said she was due in October and the news hadn't even been shared with anyone yet it was so new. Her father was so emotional and teary with this wonderful news.

A week later Janet and her hubby stopped by Marc's work after an ultrasound visit and Marc emailed me a picture of their ultra sound. The title was "How Many Hearts Do You See?" I wondered what he was asking me? He emailed back that yes it was TWINS!. Everyone was in shock....happy shock. There are twins on both sides of the family.

Their first little guy Jack will be 3 in June. Here he is with his poppa.
I'll have to become inspired and sew 2 pretty baby quilts with the fabric I bought and showed you yesterday. October isn't THAT far ahead when quilt making is in question.
Janet is feeling really good. The proud parents aren't going to find out what the sex of the babies is. THAT will be another surprise for everyone.
I hopoe you have a surprisingly extra special day today... Judi xoxo

Oh Judi, such wonderful news! I always wanted twins. I have a twin brother, and Johnny is an identical twin, but alas! we had two single births--a daughter and a son.

To make matters worse, our children disappointed us by presenting us with seven--yes, seven single births!

Maybe when it's time for great grandchildren, I'll get MY twins!
