Pink Saturday - PINK Lady and Blue Boy

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY
On BLUE Monday I posted about the BLUE Boy framed embroidery I just put up. I told you about the lovely gift I received about 23 years ago (yikes I was hardly born!). Read that post to find out more about the story.

Today on PINK Saturday hosted by Beverly from HowSweetTheSound I'm showing you PINK Lady the pair to the Blue Boy. Isn't she beautiful. Hard to imagine someone could take all the necessary time to embroider something so lovely.

She made the face features much finer. She almost looks painted doesn't she?

I'm so happy I took the pair out of storage and finally hung them up. I'm loving them.

Now be sure to click above on Beverly's name to take you to view all the other PINK Saturday participants.
Have a lovely PINK day... happy... Judi xoxo

It never fails. If the weather is all gray and gloomy Pink Saturday always cheers me up! This week is no exception. Your post this week is just wonderful! ♥Thank you so much for making my day a little brighter!♥

Do I ever LOVE your header!

Sending warm wishes to you from northern Michigan - where the cold winds blow and gray clouds pepper the skies.

That is so amazing! We saw stuff like that while visiting the MN. State fair last summer, I am so impressed by the time and talent it must take! Take care, Cindy

It does look like a painting. I remember when I was in highschool we were required to do a cross stitch project. I enjoyed coloring the squares from the pattern whenever I finish an area :-)

happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Judi,

Yes, the piece does look painted. The person who embroidered this must have really loved what they were doing. You would be surprised at how much patience you have when you are in your element. ;)

This companion piece is just a beautiful as the boy is Judi. I wonder like Shelia does about the many hours it must have taken to make this, it's a work of art for sure.

Wanted to let you know that I made the curried lentils and just love them! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Hi Judi! Glad you're having less snow. It's been a very pretty day here. Sunshine and about the early 60s. It's good to see the sun because it's been overcast for a few days. Hug little Abby for me.
