PINK Saturday - English China Lamp and Donny

Today is another PINK Saturday hosted by Beverly from HowSweetTheSound. Its a fun day to show off and visit other PINK participants. Be sure to click on her site and visit the other PINKness. Enjoy.

Remember a few months ago I showed you some of my English china finds?

The lovely English teapot with the deep PINK and red roses and the sugar bowl with PINK and yellow roses and the cup and saucer with PINK roses? I showed some of you that I had put them together, wired it and added a shade. How the lovely pieces became a floral lamp? I had intended on putting it into my etsy shop right away and I finally remembered it set aside in a box. It needed a nice home to love it. So it went into my shop this week. Here it is for those who didn't see it before.

Do you watch Dancing with the Stars? Donny Osmond has been very busy practising and performing on the Show while travelling back and forth to Vegas to perform at the Flamingo Hotel. We took this picture when we were there in September. See all the PINKness on the outside of the hotel and the PINK sign? Thats a big Donny and Marie Osmond sign.

Have a lovely PINK Saturday! Judi xoxo

What a lovely and unusual lamp. The Donnie and Marie billboard is a bit like a trip down memory lane. I remember them when they were teenagers. Have a great Pink Saturday.

Judy, your lamp is darling! I can't believe you made it. Way to go!

And Donnie is a doll. I saw that cute Marie perform in the "Sound of Music" years ago, and she was GOOD.

Happy Pink Saturday to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Great idea with the lamp. My mom did a strawberry pot lamp once. I forget we can turn things into other things sometimes. Now it makes me wish I hadn't thrown some stuff out again. Oh well. I'll have to be more careful about what I get rid of I guess.

Til next time, Jenn

Happy Pink Saturday, Judi! Your lamp is just too adorable! I'd have a hard time parting with that one! I've always wanted to make one..got all the pieces, I'm just too afraid to drill the holes! Scared it would shatter or break.

Have a lovely weekend!

Your lamp is so pretty and very unique.
I am sure you will have not problem selling it.
Donnie and Marie are just great and dancing is the best exercise. Just look how much weight they have lost.

God Bless You my friend
It was nice to stop by and read your blog. Sorry I have missed so much since my hubby was diagnosed with lymphoma and leukemia 3 months ago. I am back in the swing of blogging now.

I love your lamp...it is just the cutest!! It is funny that Donny is trying to get at least as far as Marie did in the competition. Hopefully, he does! Hope you are having a great day.♥

Oh my, I am so late this week and I am so sorry that you had to wait. I still wanted to come in and wish you a very Happy Pink Saturday. I love what you did with your teacup lamp. I think you may have just given me a great idea on what to do with some cracked cups, Char

How very special and one-of-a-kind is that darling lamp! yep...I am one of those who can't miss an episode of "Dancing with the Stars", however, although Donny was good I was a bit disappointed to see him on for the finals instead of Joanna.
