On Monday when we returned to work we were surprised to see a large tree had been uprooted in front of our building! There it lay .... after all those years.
It isn't usual for us to see something like this...hmmmm..and makes me wonder what if I'd been standing in that spot at the moment... and funny how it didn't do anything to the smaller tree shown in the front of this picture or the other one above. Nature is just that way.....
Stay grounded....I hope you have a lovely day... Judi xoxo

It is always so shocking to see what Mother Nature can do sometimes...so much power with something like this...it always makes you sad to lose a beautiful tree.
A young tree is more flexible and therefore seldom has trouble during a storm. Older trees are more rigid and might break a limb or become uprooted.
Can you make a metaphor for aging out of that?
It is always sad to see a big tree uprooted. Around my home there are LOTS of big, HUGE trees. I am always worried in this Oklahoma wind that one day one will fall.
Oh that's a bummer! We had the same kind of weather here!
What a shock that must have been! I'm glad nobody was hurt. laurie
Hi Judi! Oh, I'm so glad you popped in! Hope your wind has died down a bit! We've had lots of rain here lately and some flooding in Houston!
How sweet of you to ask about my mother. She's doing well and is liking her little place.
Be a sweetie,
shelia :)
