I'm amazed at the results of positive thinking....sometimes. For instance I was in Home Outfitters just this week searching for something. I have admired the colourful colanders I've seen on the Food Channel for some time. I admired the ones in Home Outfitters and then I thought hmmmmmm let me march over to my thrifting shop..well I didn't march I had to drive. And I did. There it was in all its pretty shinyness....
and greeness...like new and just for me. It was only $4.04 (I don't know why they have odd prices) I grabbed!
I quickly washed up some nice red tomatoes and let them "colander" in my new possession...
I was SO excited with my new find.
Do you have that happen to you? This was not the only time lately. I'll share again next time.
Have a wonderful day. ... Judi xoxo

Good morning Judi, I'm so glad we have been visiting again. I lost track of many of my blogging friends this year because we had so much going on in our life, in a good way,
and my visiting suffered.
I LOVE thrift shopping. Your colander is beautiful. A lucky find.
Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
Hugs, Jeanne

Yes this happens to me all the time. Sometimes too often Judi. Where to put all my finds???
I was just at VV yesterday on the other side of town. It took me over 1 1/2 hrs. to get there. SCORE!!!
Do you know we were in Oakville a few weeks ago? Visiting Len and Lenny's mom, my aunty Jeannine. Mom's sister. She's living there now, closer to Lenny. She finally made the move from Windsor. We were suppose to take mom to see her in Oct., but as you know she passed away. Our cousins from Michigan met us, and we took aunty out. We cried, we laughed and we went to that FAB place called "Mandarine" WOW oh WOW I wish we had one of those around here.
Anyway, your neck of the woods is lovely. I've always liked it around there. It's grown so so much though.
Stay warm
Love Claudie
