Swarovski Butterfly Project.. And Lost But Found...

Today I'm joining Sally from Smiling Sally on BLUE Monday. Please be sure to visit all the other Blue participants too.

I facilitate Personality Dimensions workshops to students and agree with one of the characteristics of the Organized Gold personality. The OG can't get on with tasks until things around them are in order. And the organization doesn't have to have anything to do with the task at hand. True you see because Organized Gold trails closely my first 2 personalities.
Example? On Sunday night I couldn't find my Crystallizor so I could heat Swarovski crystals on to a butterfly t-shirt I'd just purchased. I hadn't used it for ages but I always saw it around but no matter how many drawers and totes I looked through Sunday it was nowhere!

This is a white shirt I affixed crystals on a couple of years ago. It really dresses it up and the crystals stay on perfectly. (we're coming to the Blue)

My place is small......my craft supply is big....and I felt stressed and uncomfortable and the Zen thing wasn't going on for sure. I felt out of control! THAT started the new task of going through stuff, chucking stuff and finding a new storing system. Two nights it took me and one day of "vacation" from work. This picture is just one area I'd torn apart and I was almost done when I decided to take a picture!  See the BLUE totes in the closet?
I was rewarded for my work because the very last tote I organized was hiding the BLUE crystalizer...*s*..

This is the t-shirt with the pretty, sparkly BLUE Swarovski crystals heated onto the BLUE butterfly....

This was a double goodness for me because I got my place reorganized AND new t-shirt is embellished.....
and now that I'm at peace with my surrounding I can move on with some  projects I have set to go.  I hope you feel peace with your surroundings like I do now.  Judi xoxo

You've got some craft supplies, Judi!!! Hehehe. That crystallizer is really cool. Your butterfly turned out really great!

I was working on the blog last night, and maybe that is why you couldn't see the previous post. I had to change a few things to put a pic of my new drift roses at the top!!!

I am so happy that you found your crystallizer, I do the same thing! I start looking for something and just can't STOP looking until I find it!

Both of your shirts are so pretty with the embellishments!

Have a blessed day dear Judi! HUGS!

Hi Judi
Glad you found your Crystallizor and had a big sort out in the process. I am currently in the middle of a big sort out too. Being dis-organized has finally got to me and I'm doing something about it. My house looks very much like yours in the picture! I started at the weekend and will continue tomorrow as I'm not working.
