Smoothies ---- A Day of Fruit in One Drink

Often times on Sunday mornings while Marc starts our brekky (did I tell you he's the Breakfast King?...he is) I make us a smoothie. It is quick and easy and tastes so good and is soooo good for you too!

Depending on what we have on hand I'll add different fruit and/or frozen fruit. It may be any combination of kiwi, mango, banana, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, pineapple etc....then 1/2 cup or so of yogurt....any flavour we have on hand plain or with fruit in it....then I pour in orange juice.

I use my Braun hand mixer and mix everything well. I adjust the thickness with more orange juice if needed.

Then into the glass and voila...a delicious, good for you smoothie. What a way to start the day...

I hope you had a great start to your day too.... Judi xoxo

We do these also and LOVE them. You are right, any fruits work wonderfully. I use natural yogurt since I can't have perservatives and I sweeten with honey and oj. So yummy. We are in for more snow tonight. I hope you are staying warm and enjoying your week.

Those smoothies look great. I should make those more often. Or to even just make them. I don't believe I ever have...or at least not for a long time.
