Help…someone posted a recipe this week I think…or the weekend about making Valentine’s sugar cookies. They were heart shaped and so pretty... The recipe had a “simple” said icing that hardens and they were looking so pretty. I want to make those cookies and I forget who had it posted. Was it you? Or did you visit that blog also?
I want to bake some on long sticks..
Thank you
Judi

Thank you Darlene!! - it WAS Suzanne at SouthernInspiration and I got the yum recipe for her cookies. Great pictures too.
Last Saturday evening we strolled into a video store hoping we'd fine something good to watch. Sometimes the selections seem to be less appealing and its so hard to choose but such was not the case on Saturday. We had no trouble agreeing on 2 movies right away.
At the counter the fellow looked at each of them, smirked and said "was this a his a hers compromise?". The movies were so totally different it was easy to see why he might have thought that. But nope we both love a good thriller action movie and Marc's pretty good with some "girl flicks " too.
We watched "The Taking of Pelham 123" with Denzel Washington and John Travolta. It is a great action movie and we both loved it. Denzel Washington is one of our favourites and John Travolta did a good job too.
The second selection "The Ugly Truth" with Katherine Haigl and Gerard Butler was classified as a sassy, sexy, screwball comedy and it sure was. We just laughed, in fact we were in stitches a few times. Katherine is fabulous in it and Gerard isn't bad to look at either.

Both were great selections. Have you watched either of them? Like them or not?
Hope you have a really great day!... Judi xoxo

Hi Judi,
I think with the Valentine cookies you saw them from Suzanne at Southern Inspiration.
I haven't seen either of those movies, though we did a movie night too on Saturday night. Lexi spent the night with a friend and hubby and I got Orphan (ooooh scary and suspensful) and District 9 (about Aliens but we loved it). I didn't see that movie with Denzel Washington & John Travolta so I'll have to look for it next time.
Thank you Darlene...found her again and found her recipe.
yum.
Judi
Oh good I'm glad you found her. I was getting ready to find her and give you the link.
My husband and 2 oldest kids really liked The taking of Pelham 123. I didnt get to see it, stayed home with my little guy!
I would have to say that I would LOVE to watch Gerard Butler in anything!!!
Libby
it would be a treat to watch one of those movies,
fantastic post.
smart blog. ;)
Hi Judy,
I believe it is Behr (Home Depot), I tried to find my can of paint just to be sure but I can't find it, I'm almost 100% sure it is though (;

Thanks for the movie recommendations. We are always on the lookout for new ones, especially with all the cold, snowy weather we've been having here.
Judi, I haven't seen The Ugly Truth, but after your review, I'm going to be looking for it. I hardly breathed through the whole movie when we watched The Taking..". During the movie, I had trouble remembering that was John Travolta, but then he would say something, and it would strike me who he was. Denzel is always wonderful in any movie he does. Good reviews. laurie
