This weekend at the cottage we had rain again on Saturday morning. The hummingbirds were out in the rain and behind you can see the BLUE water (though its not looking that blue) . They were so hungry the wet weather wasn't bothering them. They were even pretty good about sharing the feeder for a change.
It was so nice watching the right outside the window as we ate our breakfast.
Later in the day the rain had stopped and we had blue skies. The water became quite rough and it was quite chilly outside. The windsock with its BLUE was blowing. The hummingbirds were so hungry all weekend but they refused to let me get a picture of them with the BLUE sky and BLUE water and the flag.

It poured here on cape cod. Beautiful pictures and how nice they were right outside your window! Have a wonderful day.

Oh, the sun shone in Tampa this weekend. We had gorgeous blue skies both Saturday and Sunday without a drop of rain. (I do get tired of rain.) Your view is amazing, and you make me envious! Happy Blue Monday.
I always enjoy seeing hummingbirds as we do not have them in England. You have a wonderful blue view from your cottage. It must be a lovely place to relax.
Have a great week.

Great pictures of the little birds! My humming birds only came a couple of times this year; I think they prefered the next door neighbor's feeder better than mine. I did catch them around my hostas a few times though. Happy Blue Monday.
Blessings,
Sandi
You have a lovely view, rain or shine. I'm amazed you were able to capture the hummingbirds. I glad the sun finally broke through for you. The sky is always so lovely following a storm. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
Judi, I sent 2 emails, using the address you gave me but...let me try again....sorry!! Let me know if you get it...
Oh, and when I put my cursor on your email add. on your sidebar, it doesn't do anything...hmmmm..anyway, trying this judicreations@yahoo.ca address again....
Hi Judi,
I just adore watching hummingbirds as they are my FAVORITE little bird of all!! They are truly funny with all their fighting over the feeders! We had 5 of them flitting around the feeders the other day.
A rainy day at the cottage sounds very cozy. I have a hummingbird feeder too and I get such enjoyment from watching them. I love how they will come hover in front of me when I sit out at the table on our patio. They are definitely curious little birds!
How neat! We have stayed in a couple of state parks in Florida and Georgia that had hummingbird feeders outside the restaurants and the little hummers were so amazing to watch. I like this little feeder with the crook that can be moved around quite easily!
I love the story and progression through the photos!
