On the weekend I drove the route that runs along Lake Ontario to the cottage in NY state. You can see the skies were wanting to threaten. I drive this road for the last hour of the drive. The first couple of hours are a hectic highway drive but this one is so peaceful and quiet.
I always love this house I pass along the way. The picture is a little crooked because I was being good and concentrating on the road (most of the time) . The house overlooks the lake and has a bea

utiful yard and lawn.
I passed this beautiful lavender along a fence...

This house doesn't really look as good as it does in the picture. I can just imagine how beautiful it would be with a little TLC. Wouldn't that top be a great

spot for crafting? It also overlooks the water. Its in a lovely location.

I took a picture of the shed at the cottage to show you the perennial flowers I had planted around it at the end of last summer. The picture also shows the door needing some TLC and paint. Funny I hadn't noticed it as much as I do in the picture.

The daisies were happy.
This is Marc and his grandson Jack having a heart-to-heart conversation. Jack just turned 2 last month.

Marc played in a fundraising golf tournament called the name of 2 dear friends who passed away 18 years ago. Ever since that time this group of golfers and they were up to about 80 this year pays to golf. The proceeds go to a good cause. They had a great day as usual. There was much laughing going on.
It has become a tradition that because one of the couples has a wedding anniversary that weekend they stop at the 17th hole and open up a bottle of champagne to toast. This year a couple of ladies took a break and reappeared in wedding dresses. One of the fellows had been persuaded to change into a black gown with pearls...and he played the rest of the game this way. It was so silly. Later everyone gathered at the Elk's Lodge and we had a delicous steak dinner and prizes were awarded to the golfers and 4-somes that were the best and the worst, and the longest and the shortest. Its always a fun time.
I hope you had a lovely weekend... Judi xoxo
