We have a lake with lots of fish but don't allow fishing. Outdoor school groups as well as management from different industry use the property for skiing, walking trails, canoeing and kayaking to name some.
On Friday on my way home I chuckled at this newly created sign on the property.
You see we also have big turtles. We have to be careful when driving by in case one is taking a leisurely jaunt across the road.
Sometimes a large female turtle will decide to lay her eggs and guard them by the side of the road on the gravel. Pilons are put around her so drivers will be aware.
Its a wonderful environment we work at..... Hope you have a lovely day...Judi xoxo

Oh what a fabulous place to work. I would be guilty of constantly watching out the window trying to catch a peek at the wildlife. We definitely need turtle signs around here....like Marily says at a certain time of the year they are everywhere.
Sounds like a lovely spot to go to work! That's cute about the hump sign! I ran over a big turtle once not know what it was until I looked into my rearview mirror and saw little arms and legs flying all over the place. I actually pulled the car over and cried!
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
What a nice place to work...so open!
I know I'd have to be very careful driving around there as I'd be trying to take in the sights too!
We don't have much wild life in the burbs, but every now and then I see opossums, squirrels and there are lots and lots of wild parrots here.
I've never seen a road sign like this!
Sounds like a wonderful place to live! Cute sign...too funny!
Now that is one cool sign!!!
I've never seen a "turtle hump" sign! How fun! I love it, and I love that nesting turtles are protected. Thanks for sharing this. laurie
That's neat Judi! I've never been to Toronto, but I've been to Thunder Bay and Winipeg numerous times. Kekabeka Falls sure is pretty! ~ Robyn
