What I hate is the feeling I get if behind closed cabinet doors there sits a mess of stuff...out of order...shoved in. No one can see it but ohhhh myyyyy its bad enough because you know. I had just that feeling with what was behind the closed bottom doors of my china cabinet after Christmas. It was somewhere between pull out and shove back stage.
So last week I thought I had better do something about that. Well it sort of started when I had to try to find a space for my new thrifted dishes...the ones with the blue? I blogged about it when I was still at Wordpress.
So I reorganized and rearranged and now when I open those bottom cabinet doors it looks much better doesn't it?
I put a few pieces of the "new" blue set into the hutch for now. 
I had a casualty while I did it. *sigh*. I have a sugar bowl which I like. I was really excited to find a matching creamer for it a few years ago. They were a pair. One day some time ago the mate, the creamer broke. The sugar bowl was alone again. A couple of months ago while thrifting I once again found a mate for it. Its larger so I gather it could be used to serve milk for coffee or tea. But while doing the rearranging I smacked the milker with a plate accidentally and it too broke.
I was so angry at me! So the sugar bowl sits alone again. The hunt continues once again for a mate of the sugar bowl.I hope you are more careful when you do your cleaning.... Have a lovely day.. Judi xoxo

I always feel so good when I get closets, drawers and cabinets cleaned and straightened..your's looks great.
I'm like Susan..I would glue it, not use it and search for another mate.

Oh gosh...it sounds like the universe is telling you not to have a creamer!!! LOL! Just kidding...I know you will find another one...proabably in no time at all.
Your new cabinet organization looks great! Your cabinets before doing this, look just like mine! I was amazed at the similarity of how it is all thrown in there!
I really should do this too...but...am I this industrious??? Only time will tell!
Everything looks so neat and organized! I've had a few casualties along the way...mostly due to my kitties. Now you have a fresh reason to go thrifting! The hunt is half the fun, isn't it?...Debbie
Is it a Murphy's law when then things you don't want to break do and the things you don't care if they break never do? Seems that happens to me.

I'm sorry about your casualties. Finding replacements shouldn't be hard as I can remember those being grocery store and dime store pieces in the 1970's. I still have a set that I use, they were my mom's.
I too need to organize the bottom of my cabinet--the bottom of my pie cabinet holds a lot, but it also hides a lot, if you kwim....

Judi, thank you so much for your ever faithful visits and well wishes for my knee replacement. I appreciate your thoughtfulness so much. It really makes my day to see your kind remarks.
Before I had my knee surgery I did the exact same thing. My china was so squished in, it was an accident waiting to happen. Luckily it didn't happen. Now I can reach my everyday things so much easier. Walking with a walker spells disaster as it is.
I'm sorry about your poor creamer. I am sure there are more out there for you to discover. I once had a creamer and sugar to a china set and I chipped the creamer. I found a creamer and sugar and bought them both. I still have both sets. (just in case). LOL.
