I've had Abby for 2 months and I have wondered whether she liked other animals...cats? NO! She does not. Last week Marc and I were stepping out and a black cat ran in. Abby walked up to her and when their eyes met...whew...they were off on a house tour with Abby running after hissing and growling.
They flew through the kitchen into the diningroom and livingroom, they could hardly take the turn into my bedroom on those hardwood floors. The "black one" ran under and onto my bed and Abby sat on her haunched, hissing and spitting and I thought something horrible was going to happen. The "black one" flew out of my room and I somehow was able to stop Abby with my swinging purse. I slammed shut the door and stayed in there with her while the "black ones" owner grabbed her hissing cat and apologized and walked out.
Now Abby is so gentle, so loving and so friendly...but she doesn't like cats. She does love her little BLUE and white teddy. She loves snuggling with it.
Have a nice rest of this BLUE Monday.... Judi xoxo

Hi Judi...the way you told this story was hilarious...I could just see the chaos going on...so Miss Abby rules her roost around your house! ;-) Bo
Miss Abby is the most gorgeous cat I've ever seen...and she has "her" house in order I see...

Maybe because the blue toy doesn't run away? I see you got your book. Good! I KNOW that you'll enjoy it. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.
Judi, wow! What an ordeal! I had a feeling you were going to tell me that Abby's head got stuck in your purse, but I'm glad it didn't and that all worked out okay. Love her with her blue teddy. So sweet. Looks like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. LOL!
Happy Blue Monday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Awww Judi! Abby doesn't like to share her house :) The pictures of her are just adorable!! She's a beautiful baby with a blue baby of her own ♥
I bet that was an experience! Poor kitty! And I love her little cuddle buddy.
I could envision the whole thing in my mind! Yikes! Abby is just territorial and was telling the other cat "My house!". lol
Happy blue Monday. Abby sure looks cute all cuddled with her blue and white snuggle bear.
Picturing this scenario has me lol! I'm glad that your kitty is now content and lovin' on her blue toy.
Have a good Blue Monday☺
Judi, Abby is beautiful. She rules, she's an only child and would like to keep it like that. That's how my Yorkie is. Doesn't like other animals to take up mommy's attention.
Blessings,
Sher
I have a Ragdoll cat named Abby and she loves sleeping with stuffed animals. She isn't too fond of other cats either.
That's because she knows she's the QUEEN CAT and doesn't want anything else horning in on her domain! She sure is a beauty!
Happy Blue Monday Judi!
Great post!
Susan
Evening, Judi! Oh, that little Abby is something else. She's so glad to be your cat, she dosn't want any other kitty coming around trying to live with you too! That is too cute! She is a beautiful kitty and love the picture of her loving her little teddy! lol
I hope you don't mind I kind of copied you!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh my! I don't know what I would have done. I don't blame Abby. She has a nice home and she doesn't want to share it with any other cats. She looks so adorable with that little blue teddy. Happy Blue Monday :>)

AWWWW, you mean that sweet kitty cuddling with his blue toy was hissing! That was too funny! laurie
I guess you can't introduce any other cats as along as Abby is there. She is the BOSS there.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I hope it was my blog you meant to comment on because you used the name Chris in the comment. I'm keeping the comment whether it was meant for me or not. I love receiving comments. :>)
I think your new furbaby is so pretty and elegant. Cats are very territorial and will defend their domain no matter what. At least they didn't start fighting and stopped at the snarling and hissing stage.

An attack cat! I'm so impressed!
I think she was protecting her teddy. You can tell she just LOVES it! Midwestern Family
