Hallowe'en Night

Did you have a good Hallowe'en?  Did you have many trick or treaters?

After the nasty weather at the beginning of the week I wondered whether there was going to be a Hallowe'en at all!  Geoff and my granddaughter Madeline and I were determined to venture out even though it was drizzly all day.
Madeline was a cheerleader with a twist.  She looked great though I didn't get a full picture of her.

We all stomped around happily in the rain for 1-1/2 hours but fortunately it wasn't cold or windy.

Some people really go all out with the decorations.  One house we went to had "Jason" music and there was a Jason hiding in the bushes.  We're glad he didn't jump up at us!

At the end of the evening Madeline was so happy with all the goodies she got.  Lots of chips this year.

Tomorrow will be 5 weeks since I had my foot accident & needed 4 stitches and a tetanus shot.  I still can't wear anything but a slipper 3 sizes larger on it.  I started out wrapping a plastic bag around my foot because of the rain but it soon was drenched.

Although it looks so good it really is sore and I hope I can get into a shoe before the snow falls...*sigh*.

I hope you had a boooootiful Hallowe'en.  One of the ladies at work removed her Hallowe'en decorations this morning and up went Christmas!  I am not even looking.

Have a great day...maybe eating Hallowe'en candies.....yum!... Judi xoxo

Those are some scary ghouls!
No trick or treaters at our house. We live to far out in a rural area.

I love seeing all the different costumes but I have never really been in to Halloween to much.

Looking forward to Christmas though.

Madeline is a cutey, even with scary makeup!!! Sounds like you had a ton of fun. I did too here.

Hope your foot will be completely healed soon!!! I think sticking it in the snow might feel awful good!!! LOL.

We had almost 80 visitors. The weather in Florida was great.

Your granddaughter looks super spooky.

I hope your foot heals soon. Meanwhile, sit and place it up on a footstool.

Hi Judi! Oh, look at Madeline! She is so cute and has grown so big! Time flies. Yes, we had lots and lots of trick or treaters and loved it.
Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,

Hi Judi, I'm sorry I have missed your posts.I didn't get much visiting done while we were in Fl. It is great to be home. Thank you for your visits as always.

The cheerleader with a twist is a hoot. Very clever. I remember when I was a kid and lived in MI. Halloween night was always cold and rainy for the most part. We lived on a farm so trick or treat was in our small town near by. The stores gave out candy and no homes were visited. It was very rural but always fun rain or not.

I hated to read that your poor foot is still healing. You must have had a very bad wound. Praying that you will be wearing some warm boots or shoes soon.

It is already cold here in the mountains. Most of the trees are bare and old man winter is coming fast. Brrr.

Wishing you well Judi.
Hugs, Jeanne xo
