Jalapeno Jelly Recipe

We enjoy appetizers whether sampling at gatherings with friends or trying something new to share with our friends.   Its one of the things Marc and I seem to be known for.  We love cooking together.

Well this week I was at home on my own and decided I would make Jalapeno Jelly.   Whether the jelly is green or red it looks so pretty over a bar of cream cheese to be scooped up onto a cracker.  Yum!

The recipe I used is recipe here.

It called for both green peppers and jalapeno peppers...
into the food processor seeds and all...
It is cooked with vinegar and other ingredients...
Poured into hot, sterilized jars...then you wait and wait until they are all cooled and thicked and voila! Done!
It was so easy I wonder why I'd never tried before because it has a great heat and is very delish!!

Have a great day.... Judi xoxo

This summer was my first time to try this. It was great with lamb and any meat. Going to give it at Christmas, too!

Hi Judi!! Oh, this is so pretty! I love the greeness of the jelly. I've only tasted Jalapeno jelly once but I do remember I was surprised at how good it was! You can do anything! ;)
Well, it's really not fall here. Although we finally got some nice rain this morning and it lowered our temps. I was rejoicing!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
