Are you Irish and do you do something special in honour or St. Patrick's Day?
If you aren't Irish do you still do something for St. Patrick's Day?

We're not but we do. We often invite family or friends over for St. Paddy's dinner. This year Marc and I will have our traditional dinner. We'll put a nice brisket in the crockpot with onions and cabbage and little potatoes and carrots and nice spices. After cooking all day our place will smell devine and dinner will be yummy. Corned beef sandwiches on a fresh rye bread are great leftovers. I think it'll be time to try a new rye bread recipe.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I'm dressed in a green sweater today for St. Paddy's Day. I'm not Irish but we enjoyed our St. Patrick's Day dinner early on Saturday. The brisket along with spices and carrots and onions and potatoes and a whole cabbage quartered boiled for hours. It smelled so wonderful in here. We served it up with some lovely crusty rosemary bread, seasoned the dinner with apple cider vinegar. Yum!
