Cupcake Teapot and Another Lamp...and Just Like Me...

I was excited when I came across a sweet cupcake teapot set before Christmas!
Which on the weekend I made it into a  cupcake teapot lamp!
I set it out to take a picture though it potentially has one of two homes to go to....
and see what is standing to the left of it...all in her winter warms, red hair and black and white puppy in arm?

a little one that my friend gave to me for Christmas.  She was made by a friend of hers and an acquaintance of mine as well  who lives by the cottage.  This is the second one she's given me.   She says they remind her of me....I guess with the red hair.  The lady who makes them is very talented for sure.

....tonight I've been making paper beads...fun....

Hope you have had a great week...and tomorrow is Ground Hog Day!  I think spring is around the corner..

Teapots I Can't Resist Repurposing...

You may know I can't resist the teapot sets....

but...for repurposing them....

This week I finished up a Teapot Lamp for a lady who will give it for Christmas to her friend who loves teapots.

Here she sits on my counter...next to Percy the Pig...
Here again are some of the pieces I've made over the last few years from teapot sets...
that turned into my Garden Teapot Birdfeeders....

The lamp wasn't the first one I've made and this one is my favourite that I
sold on Etsy a couple of years ago....
....I just can't resist...*s*...
Have a wonderful day.... Judi xoxo

BLUE Monday ... Pretty Teapot Lamp

BLUE Monday again. Sally at SmilingSally is our host for all beautiful BLUES. When you've finished visiting be sure to click on her name and see all the other BLUE Monday participants.

You know I have a love of china...teapots...lamps and now BLUE. A couple of months ago I showed you a pretty teapot. You probably knew I was going to make something with it.
Here it is slightly altered.

I drilled and wired and glued and now its a pretty teapot lamp. The teapot itself has pinks and greens but the plate has pretty BLUE flowers on it. I hate to part with it but its going into my Pinkdaisies Etsy Shop. Here I have it sitting in my kitchen next to my Percy Pig cookie container.

Have a wonderful day a pretty BLUE one... Judi xoxo
