Handmade Santa .... and a Birthday Party

My birthday visit at my eldest son Geoff and Kiley's house on Saturday a couple of weeks ago was so nice!  Richard (my youngest) and Robin, and the little ones and my mom were to be there too.  When Marc and I got there I was so delighted they had invited my best girlfriend Kirst and hubby Peter, and my dear SIL Carol and her hubby David!  It was wonderful.

I received these beautiful pink roses from Kirsti's beautiful 3 daughters who couldn't be there as well.

Marc gave me this beautiful black and clear diamond necklace.  I think it was shining so much..*s*..I couldn't get a clear picture of it.

I received lovely presents and we had a wonderful buffet.  My sons and their ladies had worked hard to make it so special..  This was a such a great birthday....   The pictures taken with my camera are not very good so I'm hoping someone else who took pics will email me some.  So I don't have any to share of us.

I'm also sharing the Santa I just finished last weekend! It was a gift for a friend who loves Santas. I was so busy before Christmas I couldn't get it finished (or started) before they went to Florida for Christmas. They just got back last week so I was able to give it on Sunday and she loved it.  I'm so happy about that.  She keeps some of her Santas out all year... I think Santa turned out quite well.

Now its time to put my birthday and Christmas to away for a while...have you put your Christmas away?
