Decorated Lobster Yums and Seafood Feast

Can you imagine with the wonderful almost snowless winter we had  it snowed today!  I think it has to be the last hoorah!

I have been having so much fun with my decorated sugar cookies.  Between baking for orders and making them for my own different occasions I’ve been busy.

My Sweet Creations by Judi Etsy shop is open and I’ve gradually been adding listings.   Once I have put up a few more I am going to have a Cookie GIVEAWAY.   So be back and I'll let you know about it.
On the weekend we opened the NY State cottage and had a lobster seafood dinner with 3 other couples.  It was so much fun!

The 6 lobsters on our table were part of a lobster feast  Christmas gift Marc had given to our friends Mickey and Molly to share.  We all gathered at their place and brought something to pass along with fun and laughter.
I picked up lobster cookie cutters from Goulda’s Kitchen a couple of weeks ago and made lobster cookies to go with our lobster dinner.
Marc and I went silly in that store.  We LOVE kitchen stores.
I baked these cookies and there was one for each of us.
For dessert Marc and I made a Raspberry Chocolate Truffle Tart.  It was pretty easy to make and it was such a hit.  Although it had chocolate and some cream the raspberries toned it down I think.  It was not heavy or too sweet.  The dumb thing is that I forgot to take a picture!  So hop over to Joy Of Baking which is where the recipe is from to see the picture.  It is so worth making.
Katie, Mickey and Molly's Labradoodle is so sweet.  She has a box of her "babies" and when you ask she'll bring one or two for you.  On Saturday she brought us her bunny ears.  She looked quite happy pictured
wearing them especially when we told her how pretty she was.  It was a fun evening.
I hope you had a really fun weekend too... Judi xoxo

The cookies are adorable!
would you believe I just tasted lobster for the first time last Friday? I hate seafood but it wasn't too bad.

Hi Judi, this thank you visit is so belated but it has taken me all week to get to all of the kind comments. Thank you for your sweet comment. You made me smile.

It looks like you had quite the lobster feast. Love the cookies you made. Fun and clever. Love the pup and the bunny ears as well.

Our lives are busy but would we want it any other way? Smile. Blogging is a time eater but I will always visit when I can. I know you will too.

Wishing you happy sunny days.
Hugs, Jeanne
