Our Vacation First Stop Las Vegas....

We had a wonderful 2 week vacation and a trip with the first stop in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Belaggio Hotel and this picture was taken across the street at the hotel we stayed at during the 2nd week. We had only visted that one before.

See the water in front of it? And those twirls in the water? Those are set up to spurt water along to music beginning at noon every 30 minutes and after 3:00 pm. every 15 minutes. We would hear and watch their interpretation of "The Star Spangled Banner", "Time to Say Goodbye" by Andre Pochelli and Celine Dion etc.

In this picture you can see how high the water would spurt for "high" and "strong" notes and parts of the songs. We love watching it.

Our room was beautiful.....

The view was soooo good...this was one direction.
We would move the 2 lounging chairs to face the window. It was an amazing view at night when the lights on the strip were lit up.....so much going on. This city NEVER sleeps...

...this was a directly below and we think this was a VIP swimming area...hmmmm we never saw anyone swimming in that area...you don't suppose it was especially for US??.

In the foyer the ceiling has glass flowers....beautiful....

The hotel has a conservatory area which they change up to suit the holiday and seasons....

There was lots of "fallness" in the conservatory as our dear Shelia from Notesongs would say...*s*...

The Belagio has this amazing Chocolate Store. See the 3 kinds of chocolates flowing down? They flow in a similar way right from the ceiling way above....mmmmmm...yummyy....

There was even a chocolate lady....

They made beautiful cakes....some were disney characters and fairies...princesses etc.... If you had one for your birthday you would never want to eat it would you??

While walking outside we came upon this interesting bike....

We headed to the M&M Store. EVERYTHING in that store is about M&Ms...pins and jewellery, and clothes, and hair barrets and toys and glassware & all kinds of fun things.... and...

way toooo many colours of M&Ms to choose from. Marc loved this spot..*s*....

and what about this car? You wouldn't lose THAT car in a parking lot....

After 4 nights in Las Vegas we rented a car....and started our road trip. I'll share that and more of Vegas later..... I bet our Theresa from "theycallmeganky" who is in Las Vegas right now has seen all that I've shown you.
Las Vegas is such an adult's playground. As our pilot who is from Vegas said to us "those of us returning to Vegas are going back to visit our money...and to see what our tax dollars have built". We use that as our own statement now...*grinning*.

I hope you too have had a super day.... Judi xoxo

What a vacation! My husband is taking a class in Las Vegas, he will be gone all next week. I could have gone but decided against it. Your trip makes me a little jealous!

Hi Judi! Oh, I love the Balagio and have stayed there many times! What a pretty room you stayed in and you look so cute standing there among the 'fallness'! I'm thrilled my silly talk is beginning to rub off on you! :)
Yay, now I can't wait to see some more of your vacation.
Have a beautiful day, sweet friend.
Be a sweetie,
Sheila ;)

Hi there dear friend! We didn't go inside the M&M store but it is on our list of things left to do:) We can see the water squirting up at the Bellagio from our window and now we are planning on going over there so we can hear the music too. We are having the most wonderful time and enjoying every minute! Have a blessed day and I can't wait to see the rest of your trip! HUGS!
