Happiness at Easter

Happy Easter to everyone
Its nice to be off work today on Good Friday. Its a beautiful day that is supposed to be somewhere in the 70s again. The sun is shining. There is a peaceful morning quiet except for the birds singing. Sweet.

I'm looking forward to having Easter dinner tomorrow at my eldest son Geoff's. My younger son Richard and Amanda will ride the hour with us to Geoff's. It'll be so nice. The year Geoff was born was an Easter weekend and he was 28 minutes short of being an Easter bunny.

Marc does have to work so I'll take some time to do some chores around here, bake some special bread and goodies for us for dinner.

A couple of weeks ago we visited my SIL and I baked a raisin/cranberry bread in my bread maker, wrapped it up in and tied it with ribbon. I make it periodically following a recipe in the book but increasing the raisin amount by adding dried cranberries, and bit of mixed candied fruit. It is so delicious and great toasted too. I'll make one for us and wrap one for Geoff too.

I hope your day today will be lovely...your Easter happy and the weekend will be everything it means to you.... Judi xoxo
