PINK Saturday - A PINK Princess Pillow

Today is PINK Saturday hosted by Beverly from HowSweetTheSound. Be sure to click over there to view all the other PINK participants today....and the list does grow.

My sweetiest little granddaughter Madeline has a new bedroom. It is PINK. Her dad painted it pink and purple (two of her favourite colours). She has a new pink comforter and lamp and Hanna Montana pictures and is so different from the teddy bear room she had before.

I wanted to add something snuggly and PINK for her room so I sewed this pillow for her. I love the fabric which is soft with little swirls on it, almost like little roses.

The other side has sweet dragonflies on a pink and white fabric.

I sewed an edging around it. She was so happy when I gave it to her the other night when she visited.
I had purchased a bit of the material so I may make her a another one in a heart shape. I think I'll make on for my Etsy store as well.

I think it'll look sweet in her PINKness little room....a little princess' room.

Have a wonderful PINK Saturday and weekend..... Judi xoxo

Hello! It's so nice to "meet" you. You invited me over and here I am, and adore your blog. Wandered back aways and LOVED the post about loonies and toonies! I never knew!!! That is so funny! I think the money being different colors is a fabulous idea. I never could understand why the U.S. doesn't do something like that ...
LOVE the pink pillow! I think you should definitly do the heart shaped one for her!
I'm following along now. Thanks for the invite

Hello Judi, thank you for your visit and coming back again to leave the sweetest comment. You are entered in the giveaway. Good luck Judi.

Your granddaughter's room sounds adorable. Those colors are the same in my granddaughter's bedroom too. Little girls love those colors. Mine is 14, soon to be 15, and she still loves those colors. The pillow is so pretty, soft and perfect for a little girls bedroom.
Good job.

Happy Pink Saturday.

Hugs...Jeanne
