An Irish Blessing....and a Lovely Friday

I've arrived at the cottage waiting for Marc to get home. Its the weekend so the forecast has changed and there is a steady stream of rain...but through the screen door I can hear the raindrops softly hitting the beautiful green leaves of the big trees in my view...it is a pretty day regardless of the rain. We are having a pizza and chicken wings with a glass of wine dinner tonight. Just taking it easy..... I love Fridays....

While I was blogging earlier I came across this Irish Blessing...its so beautiful. When you open it up go to the version by Phil Coulter and Roma Downey. It goes so beautifully with what I'm seeing as I look out the large windows here...and at the lake... a lovely blessing.

I hope you too have a lovely Friday... Blessings....Judi xoxo

Being able to watch the rain sounds heavenly to me. A lot of our state received some rains last night but we only received a sprinkle....not even enough to get the sidewalk wet!!!

What a beautiful Irish blessing.♥

Hi Judi...great you arrived safely to the cottage. I love the sound of rain on a day when you can sit around and just relax and enjoy living! It conjures up such a lovely scene in my mind! You are reminding me I have a box of wine in the kitchen...now I think I better go have a glass. LOL!
I found the name of the gal who sang on America's Got Talent and posted a link where you can watch her video!

Have a great vacation!

Oh, theat Irish Blessing is so beautiful, BTW! I thought it might be the Celtic Women singing it, but I guess just one gal did it...gorgeous!!!!!

Judi... I will be sure and play this when I get the sound fixed on my laptop. It's been messed up for a few weeks now. Not sure why, but I'm not techy! LOL!

Blessings right back to you, my friend, and I hope you have a lovely weekend! It's about to rain here!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Grab the button on my sidebar to remind you and to let your friends know. See you there. Hugs, Marty

Hope you're having a great weekend. I'm on my laptop in the kitchen, and my husband is watching a movie in the family room, so I will have to come back to click on the Irish Blessing and listen to it. laurie

Hi Judi, your Friday night sounds heavenly. I love to watch the rain fall on vacation.

About Chris Daughtry--I've only seen him once in his side yard as I drove past his house. He really is on the road most of the time. I think people in town try to give him his privacy when they do see him. He used to be a manager in a local Honda dealership before his stint on American Idol. Lots of people in this area know him from seeing him there when they took their cars in to be worked on.

While he was competing in AI there was a big fundraiser going on in our area to help his wife be able to fly out to California to watch him compete. He's never looked back since he was voted off--I think it's actually worked out better for him that he didn't win. He's sold millions of records and shows no signs of stopping.

He seems like a very nice fellow and I hope that he's managing to balance the demands of his career and his success with his family.

Retirement Bliss

Again its been quite some time since I have found the time to write on my Blog.  Its great to have you stop by and I welcome your comment. ...
