As I Look Out My Window

As I look out my window
at the end of a busy day.
Everything is quiet now
as if all packed away.

And now as I look out my window
I see the night has gone away.
Life has awakened down below
its all kind of a play.

Snowflakes softly flutter
upon the frozen earth.
A new view like no other
this new day given birth.

Another day like a blessing
handed over for our delight,
t's up to me and of course up to Thee
what I engrave on this day 'til night.

Written by me this morning...an inspirational moment... enjoy your day ... Judi xoxo

Oh Judi, that is absolutely lovely. I love to write poetry, but I can't force it. It seems as if for a while there, I was smokin' with the poetry. But recently, I just can't pump it out...you obviously had a moment of great inspiration here...so wonderful. I think many of us are feeling the same way; we want to kick start NEW LIFE..but mother earth still wants to slumber...ahhhhhh...can you blame her?

Blessings to you today, Anita
