My Own Somethingamabob

I Have My Very Own Somethingamabob

I think there is somethingamabob that lives in one of my too few closets. It helps me. I need help in that closet. I am in a small apartment and that is the closet that has to house most of the supplies I need for my small business and for additional crafts. That closet is large and has double folding doors. I have shelves in there for items and some supplies get stacked.

I carry a nice lunch bag with my brekky and lunch to work each day. I keep it in that closet. Last week I was earnestly trying to scrounge in there and could not find it. It HAD to be in there. I looked allll over and then flew back into the kitchen to double check so left the closet doors open. As I got to the kitchen I heard a big SMACK BANG and when I turned around to look. There on the floor was ONE thing. My lunch bag! It seemed as if it had jumped out of the closet with great force as if to say “ok dummy here I am”. I grabbed it, threw in my lunch and out to work I ran.

There is a long piece of light jewellery wire that seems to like me. It is an end of the roll piece about 2 feet in length and it is curled into a loose roll. It tends to make its way around the apartment and I slip it back in instead of taking the time to put it into its proper supply box. Yesterday I HAD to use it and again scrounged that darn closet. It wasn’t there. I was so annoyed at me because I couldn’t recall where I’d slipped it the last time. So…as I tried to close the double-folded doors something hard feel into the bifold part and it wouldn’t close. So I reached in to get it out. It was a plastic jar into which I now recalled I had placed that very bit of loose wire. Jumped right down again.

So….I do have a very helpful somethingamabob that lives in my closet. Wonder what it looks like!!
Do you have a somethingamabob that helps you out or maybe seems to hide your stuff?? *grinning*.
I hope you find everything you need today in its rightful place….Judi xoxo

Oh Judi that is just too funny. At least it is a nice Somethingamabob and helps you "find" your lost things!♥

LOL I lose things by the hour now. I also go to the store with a list and forget to look at it. I don't have a somethingamabob so I usually blame my poor husband saying he moved what ever I'm looking for from one place to the next:>)

OH JUDI! I had a somethingamabob but it must have left me for your closet:) I lost my hot glue gun. A girl has to have one of those. I still haven't found it, what did I do? Bought another one. I will eventually run across it or if somethingamabob decides to come back home, it can help me out again! Hugs and giggles!

Hi Judi
Thanks for sharing this funny story about your somethingamabob. I would say I had one too but he's a lot slower than yours! It's usually a couple of days after I am looking for something that it mysteriously turns upin the same place.

Thanks for the pulla bread recipe! I am looking forward to it. We just bought some whole cardamom seeds and that bread is drop dead delicious!!! We have one Finnish nursing home about 40 minutes from here who used to sell the loaves for 3 dollars, but they have stopped now, sadly...and even though there is a huge Finhish community in Lantana, Florida...they do not have bakeries that sell it. So...it is up to us to bake our own now. We are so excited to give it a try!!! Thanks Judi. I hope you have my e-mail address.
